Should President Obama give up his blackberry?

On January 8, 2009, CNN reported that President-Elect Barack Obama was possibly going to have to give up his BlackBerry and email once he becomes President. On January 16, 2009, CNN reported that Obama thinks he may be able to "hang onto" his BlackBerry and email after all. What do you think? Should the President be able to keep his BlackBerry and Email or should he have to give it up?

I talked to my dad about him using an acceptable use policy. He said that in the position that he is in, he is allowed to surf the web as he pleases. Also, he can use his computer as he would a personal computer. He really has no restrictions, within reason of course.
I do believe it is very important to have a computer use policy, within the school. I think it should be less strict, though, because students should know the fine line between right and wrong. I believe it should still be in force though, because some people do not know how to make the right choices, and there is a lot that isn’t necessary on the internet.
If an acceptable use policy was violated at work, I think that the consequences have to fit the crime. The acceptable use policy is there for a reason and it should be taken seriously. I think that if it was to the extreme, that they should be fired or even jailed.

I talked to my step-mom who works at a bank. She told me that she does have an acceptable use policy. She told me she can’t use email for personal use. Also she has no internet access at all.
Yes, some people don’t know the difference between right and wrong. If somebody doesn’t follow the right rules then they should know the consequences.
It would depend on what they did. If it was their first offense I would probably give them a warning depending on what they did. Second offense I would suspend them from the computer for an amount of time. Third offense I would fire them!
